A few announcements on upcoming activities:
1. Matting and framing D2/café.com on Thursday 11/3 at 2:00 outside the DLL Photo Studio.
2. The salon for November is Black and White Nature, and Open.
For Topic, it is defined as a nature shot with no ‘hand of man’ visible. That includes roads, fences, power lines, flower pots, paths, etc.
Cultivated subjects (like roses in a garden) will be allowed, as long as the garden itself cannot be seen (edging, mulch, stakes, etc.) Submit your images by noon on Friday 11/4.

3. Our Lunch & Learn next Tuesday 11/8 is member-submitted photos.
Submit an image you are having a problem working on, or something you are looking for ideas on, and at least one member from the board will work on it in either Lightroom or Photoshop, and we’ll see how it looks on Tuesday. Include direction on what’s giving you trouble, or what you might like seen done to the image.
Send your image to Jon Laqua. Depending on how many images we get, we may not be able to work on them all. (We’re good, but if we get 100+ images, we ain’t that good!) The earlier you get us your image, the more likely it will be to be worked on. :-)
