January 2011 Club Meeting Summary

Announcements:

Inter Club/Spring Break: Photo deadline is 2/20/2011. The location is Dakota County Votec. This will be a 1 day event. Cost is TBD.

D2/Cafe.com refresh photos are due 1/21/2011. The theme is Twin Cities. Image selection is scheduled for Monday, January 24^th at 2:00 PM in D4-N396.

February there isn't a club meeting on 2/8. There will be an indoor field trip instead. MN History Center MIA. More details to come.

March club meeting is 3/8/2011. The salon is Winter Wonderland. A presentation on IS vs non-IS lenses will be given by Nadav Cassuto.

We are also working on future presentations for the Lunch and Learn sessions.

Member Spotlight: Julie Anderson

 Presentation: How to create your own Avatar by Jason Ponfil

Jason held a great presentation on how to create your own Avatar. He walked through the creation easily as well as brought a hand out that provided in detail how you can create this yourself. He also brought samples of previously created Avatar's. He even did one of his dog! Very creative and the possibilities look endless just by playing with the steps and colors.
