Worldwide Photo Project: "A Day in the World"

This was posted on our Hub page a couple of days ago.  Sounds like an interesting project to be a part of.

Thomson Reuters Foundation is proud to support the 'A Day in the World' project. At the Foundation, we strongly believe that information empowers people to address global humanitarian, environmental and social issues. And what is more powerful than a good photo?

The objective of the Aday.org project is to create a worldwide collection of photos, long lasting memories and inspire future generations. This initiative was established by Expressions of Humankind, a Swedish non-profit foundation with the support of a highly respected global advisory council. Several international dignitaries are part of this advisory council including Archbishop Desmond Tutu, Gro Harlem Brundtland and Martti Ahtisaari.

Join us on May 15th. Photograph what is close to you and share it with the world. One thing to remember, the photos should be focused around three categories: Home, Work and Connections.
