Member Spotlight: Joe Stinnett

Joe takes a different approach to photography. He claims to be an opportunist rather than a photographer. He's been interested in photography for 20 years and has had a few of his photos published. If you need help, give him a call he might be able to help you. He also says if anyone wants to go to Columbia. Let him know that too. After finally being coaxed there he has been back many times and has some contacts in the area. His competencies include natural settings, daytime and sunrise/sunset photography. His camera of choice right now is the Olympus E-PM1. To see his photos please see the member spotlight section online. Thanks for sharing, Joe!

Presentation: Red Bull Events (Crashed Ice and Schlittentag) by Craig Madsen

Tuesday's presentation was a mixture of photos supplied by club members that attended the latest Red Bull events in the TC area and presented by Craig Madsen. Shown were great action shots of a crazy event. It proved to be so polualr that Craig and Dave were about 10 ft apart and didn't even know it. Lesson learned stake out your spot early! He also showed you needed to stay on your toes and be where the action is. That dedication proved to be a valuable lesson for Craig. A photo he posted on Facebook around midnight has him getting notice by Red Bull by 4 am. He sold them a winner of a shot. To see the photos visit the web site.
